Isn’t that what the world wants…for us to pony up?
Why does it seem like we are always being asked to pay, to bring it to the table, when all around are greedy hands hungry for the taking?
You may feel this way, but what if I said it was all an illusion? Oh, it’s real. All of us have been to that table. But that table is finite when there is an infinite table waiting for you where everyone is welcome.
Hard to fathom in our dog eat dog world where cruelty and hate is served up on every plate. Where opinions flow like water and everyone is so busy spouting words, we’ve forgotten what wisdom is.
Our feast table has become a famine. An empty table of lies so no matter how much we gorge we will never be full. It’s way past time to push back from the table…
To purge our bloated bellies and our haughty minds.
To unclench our fists and open our hands.
No one cares where you stand when you’re ready to fight. No one listens when your words are peppered with spite.
Take a seat. Be quiet. And listen.
You might just learn something. I might.
It’s not about being right. It’s about being heard. Isn’t that what we all want?
Stop trying to change someone’s opinion. If anything needs to change it’s our hearts.
That’s a good place to start.
