Soul Sickness

Jason Silva talks about our “soul sickness—the story you tell yourself driving you to distress with excessive rumination.”

And…it is all an illusion. By the Master Illusionist.

What may have started as a small whisper has now become a loud, clanging cymbal, an insistent, constant, demanding voice that infiltrates your thoughts convincing you, you are worthless, that you are a mistake…that you should not exist.

Until one day you are trapped inside the four walls of your mind with the mastermind of trickery, deceit, and illusion.

Until one day you are screaming and no one can hear you.

Until one day you believe the story….Except…

It’s not your story.

Depression is real.

Depression is more than sadness.

Depression is more than feeling down.

Depression is the mountain you cannot climb

Depression is the endless sea with no shore.

Depression is the voice that shouts no more.

No more hope.

No more joy.

No more.

But, as those steal into your mind, I say…

YOU ARE.

YOU are worthy.

YOU are loved.

YOU are valued.

YOU are adored.

YOU are treasured.

YOU ARE NOT ALONE.

You are you and there is only one you and there is no one like you and there never will be. Your life matters…to me.

There is hope beyond depression.

There is hope in tomorrow.

There is hope and help.

I am here. And, I want you here too.
