Good Friday is more than just another day…it is THE day.

 

The day the earth shook.

The day the sky was rent.

The day the veil was torn.

 

The day a new life was born, and…

Death died.

 

Who is He who conquered the grave?

Who is He who was born to save?

Who is He who died for your sins?

Who is He who was raised so you may live?

 

Who is HE?

 

The Son of Man, the Son of God,

Who sees your affliction, who bears the rod.

The King of Kings above them all,

The redeemer, the deliverer, who conquers the fall.

 

He is your salvation.

 

He was ravaged, mocked, scorned, and beaten.

He was shamed, abused, rejected, and dishonored.

He was abandoned, deceived, ridiculed, and falsely accused.

 

But those gathered did not know.

 

Jesus is more than man.

Good Friday is more than just a day.

 

Sunday is coming.
