So, what do you do when you can’t be fake? How do you survive in a polyester world?
By being real.
Wow, I would not want to live as a teenager today, where anything and everything I did or said was analyzed under the microscope…a giant magnifying glass of every photo taken.
Photoshop has given rise to the devil’s lies that who you are is not enough.
But you are. You are enough.
You don’t need white teeth, a tan, the perfect caption or background or pose.
You just need to be you.
In a world of insta everything and “fake” book where’s a girl to turn? Where do you go when being authentic is frowned upon? You go to the one who created you. The One who knows your name, who doesn’t make mistakes and loves you exactly the way you are.
He loves every flaw, every misstep, every inch of your imperfect life, and He wants you to love you.
Don’t buy into the false narrative. It’s a pack of lies.
Like the Venus flytrap, the lies draw you in then snaps shut on you until they devour “you.”
But the world needs you.
Be you.
Get real.
